Week #30 Go Paperless

We are living in the times where almost everyone has a smartphone and access to the online world. We love to travel, live in different places and we change our address quite a lot. Getting into the digital world has never been easier

And with this one, can go hand in hand one easy step to make a little change in the world - going paperless and exchanging printed pages for digital documents.

This way you will be able to access all the important documents anytime anywhere in the world without carrying them with you.

Go Paperless with your Bank
Statements, agreements, updates, everything now can be sent to your email address and you don't need to get the printed versions to your mailbox.

Go Paperless with your Bills
Household bills can add to the paper waste. Many service providers give you now an option if you want to receive your bills online or if you prefer them printed.

Go Paperless with your Receipts
More and more stores now send you the online receipt for your purchases instead of giving you the printed one. This comes handy as often we tend to lose them or put them somewhere where we don't remember and can't find it when needed.

A little tip - Keep it organised
It can be easy to lose track of your documents. If they don't lend in your e-mail box where you can find them under some keywords, we recommend creating online folders (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) where you can keep them online, accessible and organised the way you need them.

Interesting fact
Since DocuSign (a software for signing documents and sharing agreements online) came along, more than 2.28 billion documents have been signed electronically instead of getting printed out.

DocuSign has helped to save:
Over 20 billion sheets of paper, over 2.5 billion gallons of water needed to make that much paper, plus over 140 million pounds of waste (source).
Can you imagine that this is just one company making a difference in the world?
